Lessons from The Road 46: Permission to Change

We don’t often talk about this, but many people feel guilty for outgrowing things.

You outgrow jobs, beliefs, identities. You outgrow certain relationships or environments that once felt like home. And when you do, there’s often a voice inside that says: You can’t change now. People are counting on you. You’ve already invested too much.

But growth is not betrayal. Change is not failure. It’s the natural rhythm of a life that’s alive.

Living authentically means giving yourself permission to evolve. To let go of who you were, so you can become who you’re meant to be. It’s not easy, especially when others are invested in the older version of you—but it’s necessary if you want to live from your True Self.
