Lessons From the Road 14: Finding Clarity at Life’s Turning Points

What if change wasn’t something to fear, but an invitation to realign?

Whether it’s a career pivot, the end of a relationship, a health wake-up call, or the quiet discomfort of knowing something needs to shift—transitions are a natural part of life. But that doesn’t make them easy. They often come with uncertainty, resistance, and a sense of disorientation.

And yet, these are the very moments that hold the potential for the most profound growth.

The Role of Transitions in Answering The 3 Life Questions

Times of change ask us to pause and re-evaluate. They offer a unique window to examine:

  • Am I still living authentically, or have I outgrown parts of my current identity?
  • Are my relationships helping me grow or holding me back?
  • Is it time to shift how I contribute to the world?

When you approach a transition with intention, it becomes more than a disruption—it becomes a doorway.

How to Move Through Change with Intention

  • Acknowledge the Threshold – Recognize that you are in a liminal space—not where you were, not yet where you’re going. That’s okay.
  • Stay Curious – Instead of rushing to fix or figure it out, ask: What is this transition trying to teach me?
  • Reconnect with Your Core Values – Let them guide your decisions as you navigate new terrain.
  • Create Space for Stillness – Clarity often emerges in the quiet. Make room to listen inwardly.

Your Challenge This Week:

Identify one area of your life where change is already happening—or feels necessary. Spend time journaling or reflecting on how that shift relates to The 3 Life Questions. What’s asking to be realigned?
